Here’s our trade show event tip #2

Have the product available for purchase

Learn from the Apple play-book – when you demo something in a tradeshow marketing event, make sure it is on sale and you are ready to take orders. Many people buy on impulse (or at least they are initially excited about your products on impulse). So if you manage to wow them with your new product or service, you still need to CLOSE THE SALE. This implies that your product must be available for sale.  If you’re showing a prototype or product that’s not yet released at the tradeshow booth, make that amply clear. If the product is on the market now, then ensure it’s easy for customers to buy, on the spot.
